It’s my birthday!
As I thank God for adding another year to my life I’m reminded that being an adult is expensive. Being a healthy adult? Bloody expensive!
Welcoming the first few days of 2020, I put last year into perspective and thought about my vision for the year ahead. Ironically, I had to purchase new glasses this week as my eye sight has improved and The Gym adverts reminded me I am paying for something I haven’t used for quite some time…
So here’s to chapter 28 or as I’ll be calling it Twenty GREAT! I am giving God all the authority to make it GREAT with these affirmations:
- Growth
I’ve pushed through a lot of ?, now it’s time to bloom ?
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.” John 15:5
- Restoration
My confidence and my health ??♀️ will be restored and exceed that of before. I will bring my best self (again!).
“You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.” Psalms 71:21
- Expectant
I will take power in prayer – asking expectantly of my heart’s deepest desires and have courage to receive my overflow.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
- Abundance
I will be bold in my gifts, grace and gratitude.
“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3
- Time
This quote from Girl Got Faith really resonated with me: you can’t give your life more time, so give the time you have more life
“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12
